confidence. courage. conviction

When you take a stand and agree to commit to the master plan, you’ll find the confidence, courage, and conviction you need, deep within, to keep moving forward. Put GOD first. Sit a while and listen to your still quiet voice. That’s your compass, your blueprint, the one created especially for you. Celebrate your dna…your uniqueness. Love the shade you’re in. Be and stay focused. Have the faith of a mustard seed. Sow seeds of love, hope, and gratitude. Be generous. Practice reciprocity. Thank The Creator for every single blessing, understanding that YOU matter. Your story matters. ~Joanna

making progress is a process…

I remember learning about the tortoise and the hare. There’s a strategy for success in this fable. It’s involves learning how to be a marathon runner. You must be in it for the long haul. Pace yourself. Remember: Good things come to those who wait. Be patient because it really is a virtue, a strength. Remember: Slow and steady wins the race. Making pogress is a process.

Here’s the why –> The Tortoise and The Hare

This is one of my favorite songs for the times I have to dig deeper and remember: Nothing is Impossible. We must find the strength and energy to keep plugging along. It’s required when you want to make progress. We need creativity to get to the finish line. Sometimes, we’ll have to try different ways of doing things. Sometimes, we must break the mold and create new ways. Coming up with great ideas is not a cookie cutter experience. Innovation is a choice. Be willing to be different.

Be committed to making incremental progress; take it step-by-step. Learn about best practices. Be willing to achieve a standard of excellence. Take breaks when you’re tired. We need rest and time to recharge our batteries. We must practice self-care when we’re creating. It’s not easy. Believe in what you started. Know that you can finish. Making progress is a process. Be a tortoise and stay the course.
